There is no way I can ever express how much my life has been so much better in so many ways because Tom was my home teacher and, more importantly, my friend.  He gave me the support I needed, right when I needed it, even if I couldn't give him all the details; he was ready to take my word for it and believe me when others were not.  It meant a great deal.  Linda, you were always there, going the extra mile, making everything he did possible and also being a very special friend to me.  Tom also was also a tremendous help in the genealogy effort, even though he was not involved in the research.  He had a very special way of connecting to people when he spoke to them, and he will be sincerely missed.  My prayers continue for his family.

Dear Linda:
We miss Tom so much.  Over the years of our friendship you and Tom shared many special times with us. I recall you guys visiting Sandy and I camping at Twin Lakes and the fun we had seeing the beautiful scenery there. Sandy also enjoyed sharing her Christmas decorations with you and Tom.  Tom was a very special man.  He was High Priest Group Leader in our Ward and made the weekly meetings very special for all of us, always making the scriptural lesson take on a personal meaning for each of us. Of course I can't not mention those great High Priest dinners at your factory in Garden Grove. What a special gift to the High Priests and their families.  I remember that you and Tom shared a Duck's game with Sandy and I. What great seats.  It was fun to see how excited Tom was about NHL Hockey.  Tom and I also attended a couple of USC Football games and really enjoyed the color and excitement of college football.  Sandy and I always enjoyed being invited to your home, (especially on the Fourth of July,) and seeing the love that You and Tom had for each other and for Arron and Erick.  Now Tom and Sandy are gone to be with Heavenly Father.  Linda we want you to know that you will always hold a special place in our hearts and that we, (the new Sandy and I) will always be here for you.  All our Love Dick & Sandy Bonneau

Dear Linda and Family,  Your family showed us so much kindness when we lived in Huntington Beach over 20 years ago.  Tom was the living example of a "good shepherd" as he loved and watched over all in his charge as Elder's Quorum President.  You may not know this but his example has been used to teach many others how to minister.  We have all been blessed by knowing and learning from Tom.  He is genuine, loving and sincere - a true man of integrity.  We pray you will be comforted by the knowledge that your family is eternal, and that this great man will always be with you.

It's been over 40 years since we first met you, and many years since we've experienced the joy of seeing all of you, but we will always remember Tom for his quite strength and brilliance. Dear Bacon Family,
How we will miss Tom -- husband, father, grandfather, friend, mentor, loyal employer, astute businessman. His life blessed us and our immediate family as well as our extended family in a myriad of ways, too long to enumerate here. Numerous times we were the beneficiaries of Tom's generosity. Our Photo Albums are full of many memorable times together, whether in our backyards, or traveling the world. Watching the whole Bacon family grow in number as well as stature during the past 41 years has been a wonderful journey as we've shared happinesses and heartaches. Although we will sorely miss our card games and good times eating out as well as in, going to the Angels and Ducks games, etc., etc., we know we will be reunited one day and that our friendship with Tom and Linda Bacon will continue forever in the eternities.

  Thomas Mark Bacon became my closest friend and the brother I never had.   
I remember the good times we had as men and as families.  You were always more than generous and understanding.  Thanks for putting up with my pushing you to try things like  "hot air balloon rides" when you were afraid of heights.  My life and that of my family has been changed for the better because of you and your family.  Thanks for your strong testimony. Tom was one of the sharpest minds I ever had the privilege of learning from. He taught me so much in the 25 years I knew him. I will always remember his smile and sense of humor and hope I can honor his memory in some way each day going forward. My love and prayers to entire family.

Thank You Tom for loving my sister and thank you my sweet sister for taking such good care of Tom.

I had the distinct honor and privilege to have had Tom as both a close friend and to have worked with him in Church assignments for many years.
He truly will be missed.  Tom was a never stop never give up optimistic person. He gave readily of himself and of his means for many people as well as for activities. His favorite term was "breaking bread" with any and all at any time. We had many experiences, stories and accomplishments together. He was able to instill in everyone the determination to do the best no matter what the task. His kind and gentle heart helped many a person achieve excellence. He will not be forgotten and is now able to continue that work.

It was with great sense of loss that I learned of Tom Bacon's death.  It was a pleasure to have known him and I appreciated our relationship very much as a friend as well as a valued client. With sincere sympathy.

Tom is one of the finest!   He was a great example for everyone.  He fought the good fight for many years and has now graduated with honors.  My late husband and I truly loved Tom and he will be missed.  May the Lord bless Linda and family with peace and comfort as only He can do.

Tom has always been kind to me and my family.  I feel extremely fortunate to have worked for him and I will miss him very much. Our deepest sympathy to Linda and the entire Bacon family.
