Robert Thomas Snyder

He was born on January 11, 1942 in Los Angeles. After graduating from Washington High School, Tom went on to study at Pepperdine college on a baseball scholarship where he received his bachelor's degree. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants and played 2 years in the Class A California League before he began teaching physical education at O.A. Peters and then McGarvin Junior High School.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Tina Snyder and their 3 daughters, Stephanie Tatom, Leslie Lee, and Shelby McCoy. Two Son-in-laws Dan Tatom and Horace McCoy. As well as their 12 grandchildren, Brevin, Briggs, Benay, Brynn, and Brooklynn Tatom. Michael, Ty, Maya, and Jada Lee. Alexa, Horace(bru), and Ava McCoy.

Tom was an avid golfer but most importantly he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had the amazing ability to make EVERYONE feel special. He was loved by so many and he will be greatly missed.

A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 18, 2023 at 2:30 PM, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 18, 2023, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683.
