Richard was born in California to parents, Elmo E Johnson, of Iowa, and Mildred Ida Bolton, from the Ukraine. He was a Naval Lieutenant, who retired after 30years of serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a long time resident of Orange County, California, making his home in Westminster, California.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Aura Johnson, 2 sons, daughter, and grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 12:00 noon in the Westminster Memorial Park Chapel, 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA 92683. Graveside immediately following.
