Raymond Albert Daniels

Raymond Albert “Ray” Daniels died peacefully at home on Tuesday April 12, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 89. Ray is survived by his son Jim Daniels and daughter Terri Boteler, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and sister Annette Bliss, He is preceded in death by his wife Delores Carolyn Smith, and sisters Arlene Hume and Shirley Anderson. Ray was born on December 8, 1927 in Long Beach, California to Raymond Clarence Daniels and Helen Bollenbach. He married Carolyn, in 1955. Bought a house in North Long Beach, Ray began working for Douglas Aircraft as a machinist. His children remember him as a kind/gentle/soft spoken/religious father. He was an active and dedicated member of the LDS Church, after retirement at Boeing in Huntington Beach he served as Family History missionary.

A funeral is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Thursday April 20th at Westminster Memorial Park with a reception to follow at LDS chapel at 14271 Locust St, Westminster CA. Bishop Darin Ravsten will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ray’s life.
