I saw you playing the drum
Becoming one with the instrument
You performed with poise and grace

To the beats of a poem (Anh Thơ)
To the sound of my heartbeats 
To the waves in the ocean.

Dear Cô Thơ's family,

My husband & I knew her since we started CK10 with chị Phương as co-instructor back when the class was held at the old ITC headquarter in Garden Grove. When it was moved to a new location, Cô Thơ insisted on maintaining the class so she found a new place for us at Kaiser in Orange City. Thanks to her, my husband & I were able to bring our parents to join her class. We later found out Cô Thơ's father (aka Bác Sĩ Tài) was my father's previous martial art teacher way back in Vietnam in the 50's. We can't help to think our faith brought all of us together. What we remember most about Cô Thơ is how dedicated she was as a teacher, her utmost care & encouragement for her students' succeed. She thought me how to breathe through my lungs, not through my noses & up to this day, everytime I hike & couldn't catch my breath, I use her technique & it helped me tremendously. The last time we saw Cô Thơ was at my father's funeral & we didn't get a chance to see her since. Yet, our memories & so as our gratitude with Cô Thơ are forever in our hearts. Please accept our sincerest condolences🙏🙏🙏

Dear Cô Anh Thơ's Family,

My heart is broken for you and your family. Your mother was truly one of a kind. She will never be forgotten by any of us who knew her.
Cô Anh Thơ touched so many lives with her kindness and love. Her life was like a garland of beautiful deeds that graced the earth with beauty, color, and grace. I know all of us will miss her terribly, as will all who knew her.
In the teaching of the Buddha, all of us will pass away eventually as a part in the natural process of birth, old-age and death and that we should always keep in mind the impermanence of life. The life that we all cherish and wish to hold on. To Buddhism, however, death is not the end of life, it is merely the end of the body we inhabit in this life, but our spirit will still remain and seek out through the need of attachment, attachment to a new body and new life.
