Nga Thi Nguyen

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear and beloved, Nga Thi Nguyen, who passed away on March 11, 2021, with most of her family by her side in Stanton, CA, at the age of 83.

Nga is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Giai Van Nguyen; Eight children: Daughter Mimi Quang, husband E and three children: Trandon, Tralina, and Travanna; Son Doug, wife Phuong and one child, Devan; Son Vu, wife Phuong and four children: Nicole and two children, Vivie and Adler, Chantelle, Ryan, and Skylar; Son Nhan, wife Thuong and two children: Kaylie and Jayson; Daughter Phuong and two children, Justin and Shyenne and one child, Nova; Daughter Wynn, Son Nghia, wife Karli and two children, Kellen and Noe; and Daughter Oanh Handel, husband Rob and two children, Quinn and Cienna. All in total, Nga leaves a loving legacy of eight children, fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Nga’s surviving siblings: Be Van Pham (brother) and Diep Thi Duong (sister).

Nga was born in November 1937 in Vietnam to Ngoc Van Vo (father) and Xinh Thi Pham (mother). She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nga enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, gardening, and taking daily walks with her husband. She often loved to follow the weather report and shared the latest international and local news stories. Nga’s caring spirit and tender heart touched so many lives—she will be dearly missed.

Viewing ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 8 from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Peek Funeral Home, 7801 Bolsa Avenue, Chapel #1, Westminster, CA 92683. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 9 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, followed by burial at 11:45 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nga’s beautiful life.
