Born in South Carolina, raised as a native child of Sunset Beach, she was an active alum of Huntington Beach High School, class of '59. Remembered as a loving classroom aide to special needs children, scout leader, chaperone, seamstress, decorator, baker, photographer, and all around event coordinator. Beloved mother and nana, she is survived by her husband Gary; children, Linda and David; son-in-law, Marc; grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher and Harrison; and her niece and nephew, Karen and Kevin.
Her love endures in the community of friends blessed by the limitless giving of her limited time on Earth. If you knew her, you knew the embodiment of an amazing grace.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 10:30 am at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, California 92683. A luncheon celebrating her life will follow at 12:00 pm at the Sunset Beach Women's Club, 16812 Bayview Drive, Sunset Beach, California 90742.
