Anh Luong is not only a doctor, a successful father who raised very successful children, but also an author and an enthusiastic gardener. He loved planting fruit trees. He planted them in his homes ( we still  remember the visit to his Oklahoma house where his garden was full of fruit trees and flowers) , in his rental  properties, and when he ran out of space he still wanted to plant more... He gave us a guava tree years ago . The first year the guavas were so big, it was only appropriate to give the giver the very first fruit. I still remember him smiling and looking so happy . Yes, that the anh Luong we remember... So even you are gone , we will forever remember you every time we walk out to our back yard and looking at our growing guava tree and enjoying its  tasty fruits every year...

I have many memories of your dad, from the tennis matches to the family gatherings, especially those involving gardening and Spring/Summer cleaning. I did not mind at all as a kid, it was a good way to bond with everyone despite the language barrier. Back then, your dad always tried to speak with me in French, and singing old French songs that he learned in Vietnam.  I remember him joking that the French education must have gone downhill because I did not know any of these songs. Still, it was only much later - when he came back to Oklahoma for a few weeks - that I got to know him better as a person, and not just as my uncle. He treated me almost every day to dinner during his stay. We spent a lot of time talking about life, my aspirations, his many plans during retirement. He gave me many advice while recounting his life, experiences, and achievements throughout the years. I am glad I got to know him better during that time. He was indeed an indomitable force, and I will always remember him fondly.
