Linda was born on September 7, 1934, in the Hoi-Ping District in Southern China. The daughter of Wong Chung Fong and Lee You Ong, Linda was the eldest of five children (Tim, Joe, Virginia, and Victor).
Linda emigrated from Hong Kong in 1958 after marrying her husband, Raymond. After moving to the United States, Linda and Raymond worked in the restaurant industry and opened the Chinese restaurant Le Yen, which was the heart and soul of Bixby Knolls for 45 years.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; her son, Kenneth Chan, and his wife, Elaine; her daughter, Susan Woo, and her husband, Wilmond; and her four grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Mathieu, and Jillian.
To celebrate her life, visitation and services will be held at the Westminster Memorial Park Chapel, 14801 Beach Blvd., CA 92683. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 22nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The memorial service and burial will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, at 12:00 pm.
