Keith Albert Wilkinson born in Orange, in the parish of St. James, Jamaica West Indies on September 5, 1930, and one of nine children born to Archibald and Leticia Wilkinson, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends in Corona, California on March 26, 2019. He is survived by his sister, Ruby Maghann and brother, Gerald Wilkinson, children, Michael, Margaret, and Maurice, grandchildren, Shawn, Natasha, Maxwell, Joshua, Jada, great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Giovanni, daughter-in-law Jacquelyn, son-in-law Paul, grandson, Grant, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Keith made his choice to serve God at Hopewell Convention in 1947 at age 17 where he met his future bride, beloved Estella Wilkinson at the convention in 1951. They exchanged vows on March 5, 1957, and lived in Kingston, Jamaica until moving to the United States in November 1969. Keith and Estella were married 52 years until her passing.
Keith attended Jamaica School of Agriculture where he graduated in 1951 with a diploma in Agriculture. He was hired by the Department of Agriculture, and worked there for 6 years. He then transitioned to the teaching department and became an Agriculture Instructor prior to being appointed to the Land Valuation Department as a land surveyor. Prior to permanently relocating to the States, Keith continued his education in New York for a couple of years where he studied computer technology in the mid-sixties. Upon completion, he returned to Jamaica to relocate his wife and 3 children to the states in October 1969. After living in Gardena, CA for five years they settled in Westminster for 28 years prior to moving to Corona. He landed his first job as a computer operator with Powerine Oil Company in Norwalk, CA from 1969 to 1979 followed by Diamond International in Costa Mesa, CA and he retired from Rainbird in 1993. He continued to evolve with technology and remained intrigued long into his mid 70's.
Keith and Estella traveled extensively visiting several countries in Europe, Japan, China, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and the Carribean. He was an avid reader favoring political biographies and enjoyed visiting US Presidential libraries. Keith remained a faithful servant to God. He loved the Lord, his beloved Estella, his children, his family, and many friends. His loving jovial spirit, grace, and intriguing story times will be greatly missed.
