My deepest condolences to Jerry and their kids and their families.  Judy will be missed by many.

To the family of Judy Bucher: 
I was so sorry to hear about Judy’s passing.  As with so many others, she was involved when I was hired at OCSD. I can remember her on my first day like it was yesterday. 
I will always remember and cherish her friendship, her smile, her kindness, her professionalism and her willingness to help me and anyone else who needed it.  She loved being involved with so many of the District events and making sure things went off without a hitch; although her greatest  love and joy was her family. 
I will always remember you Judy.

Dear Bucher family,
Judy was such a ray of light in our HR family at OC San (OCSD)!
I was fortunate to work with her for several years  before her retirement, and she was always so welcoming, encouraging, and helpful.  Even after her retirement, I loved keeping in touch when she would drop by the office or host a Southern Living at Home party!  She really put her heart into everything and connected with the people fortunate enough to know her.
Hers was a life well lived, and she left an indelible mark on all of us.

Judy was such a beautiful person inside and out. Her true calling was a career in Human Resources and the Orange County Sanitation District was so lucky to have her! She made a difference in my life. Rest in peace Judy. The photo I share includes an employee picnic and also the day she retired both with her husband by her side. They were adorable together.

I was saddened to hear of Judy's death. She was truly a kind and gentle person. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories, and we find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. 

What a beautiful person inside and out. I met Judy when I got hired at OCSD in 1992...She was on my interview panel. Her genuine and caring personality made me comfortable to go to her in Personnel anytime.  She coached and mentored me in so many ways. 
My deepest condolences to the family for loosing such a wonderful person.

I always felt Judy was a naturally caring person, in the way she performed her job.
That was  shown even more when I was going through my divorce, she made me lasagna to take back to my new "bachelor" quarters.
