With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to John Zemar, a dedicated veteran, esteemed leader, and cherished colleague, who passed away on May 4th, 2024. John's journey began on June 12th, 1930, in Cleveland Ohio, where he embarked on a life defined by service, commitment, and unwavering dedication.

John proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant. His courage, integrity, and sense of duty were evident in every aspect of his military service, earning him the respect and admiration of his fellow servicemen.

Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, John embarked on a distinguished career with Delmar Avionics, where he retired as Vice President of Manufacturing after an astounding 40 years. His leadership, expertise, and passion for excellence were instrumental in shaping the company's success and solidifying its reputation as a leader in the aviation industry.

Throughout his tenure at Delmar Avionics, John's unwavering work ethic, strategic vision, and commitment to quality served as guiding principles, inspiring those around him to strive for greatness. His legacy of professionalism, innovation, and integrity will continue to resonate within the company for generations to come.

Outside of his professional endeavors, John was a loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether spending time with family, pursuing his hobbies, or lending a helping hand to those in need. His kindness, generosity, and genuine spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
