Dennis was born on February 17th 1949 at Orange County General Hospital in Orange, CA. He was the son of Elena and Jesse Rodriguez. He was born and raised in Orange County alongside his siblings - Richard, Jesse Jr, Rory and Patricia Rodriguez. He grew up loving football, surfing and eventually finding his voice as a gifted singer. The only thing he loved more than music was being a father and watching his kids grow to have children of their own. He passed away peacefully in his bed, surrounded by close family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Jade Haney and Alexis Rodriguez, his two sons, Shannon and Rory Rodriguez, and grandchildren, Izayah and Maleah Gamblin, Dakota Castrejon and Zachary and Hazel Rodriguez.
Exuding warmth and a calm nature, he had a way of making everyone feel comforted when they were in his presence. He will be remembered by his charisma and prowess as a performer and he will be greatly missed by loved ones and countless people whose lives he touched.
The service and burial for Dennis will be held at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, CA on July 30th, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
