Cathleen Ann Green (Forbes) age 64, of Riverside, took her last breath on this earth and immediately entered into the presence of her loving Savior, Jesus Christ on November 2, 2022. Cathie was a devoted wife to her husband Mark for the past 45 years. She was a dedicated and loving mother to Kristy (Kenny) Hill and Lori (Jared) Kays. Cathie cherished her five grandchildren, Nathan, Travis, Taylor, Nicole and Brooklynn, who lovingly called her Grammy. Cathie was a beloved daughter to Phil and Gwen Forbes, a kind and sincere sister to Dee (Tom) Allen and John (Lisa) Forbes. She was a cherished aunt, and a devoted matriarch. Cathie loved spending time with her family, enjoyed camping, watching game shows, photography, scrapbooking, preserving family traditions, and reading her Bible. She loved deeply and her laughter always abounded. Cathie walked by faith, always pointed others to Jesus, she was a child of God and an ambassador for Christ. Cathie was a beautiful soul, who was steadfast and a loyal friend to all. She was a good and faithful servant. She is now celebrating in the joy of the Lord, healed, whole and dancing. Joined with her dearly departed mother, Gwen, and grandson Nathan. We will miss her greatly on this side of Heaven but we know we will see her again.
“Now we look forward with confidence to our heavenly bodies, realizing that every moment we spend in these earthly bodies is time spent away from our eternal home in heaven with Jesus. We know these things are true by believing, not by seeing. And we are not afraid but are quite content to die, for then we will be at home with the Lord. So our aim is to please him always in everything we do, whether we are here in this body or away from this body and with him in heaven.”
2 Corinthians 5:6-9
