Beatrice Lopez Zuniga

Beatrice was born on January 27, 1928, in San Antonio,Texas where she grew up with her two brothers and five sisters. She and her husband of 60 years, Anselmo Zuniga who passed in 2012, met as teenagers at the Plaza Hotel in San Antonio where she worked as an elevator girl. Beatrice and Anselmo were married on September 25, 1951. In 1955, they moved to Los Angeles, CA. In 1962, they bought a brand-new home in Huntington Beach, CA for $16,500. Beatrice and Anselmo spent the rest of their lives together in Huntington Beach raising their children, spoiling their grandchildren and their beloved pets. Her family will miss her playfully saying, “I love you more!”

While living in Los Angeles Beatrice worked for the Mattel Corporation. After moving to Orange County, CA Beatrice worked for Rockwell International in Newport Beach, from where she retired in 1983 after 20 years.

Beatrice is survived by her three children: Beatrice Foley; Adolfo Zuniga (Martha); and Maria Armstrong (Brian). She is also survived by four grandchildren: Randolph Zuniga; Amber Zuniga; Paul Armstrong; and Robert Armstrong (Georgiana).

In honor of her final wishes, no services are planned. Beatrice will be interred at the Westminster Memorial Park located at 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683.
