Grandma you are my heart. You have been a part of my life from day one and I'm so very grateful for it. You were the best grandma anyone could have. I'll never forget the time we spent. Whether it was wrapped in blankets watching the rain from the front door way at the Warwick Circle house or out at the pool having family meals at the Sunswept house, your love made our family strong. That love, I will carry with me every day of my life, but know, a part of my heart goes with you into the ground. It will never be the same without you. You were precious to me. Seeing you meant warmth and safety on a primal level even when years had shrunk you down to be so much smaller than me at the end. I remember our last hug, how you squeezed me so tight, I never wanted to let go. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for accepting me, flawed as I am, and loving me. Give Grandpa our love when you see him. I'm glad you two will be together again and that you will both be at peace. You were both amazing people. You made me proud of where I came from. We will try to keep making you proud of us. We love you so much. This is us, hanging out of the car as we part ways, waving wildly and screaming at the top of our lungs.... GOODBYE, WE LOVE YOU!... just like we did every time we left your house after a visit. Thank you for the love and the memories. I will carry them with me always. I love you Gram. Forever and ever.

She is with her children (loved ones), again and in paradise! My heart to you Kelli and to your family. I am so sorry for the heartache, the sadness and the empty dark hole left behind for you to deal with. It will make sense one day, I am confident. In the meantime, KEEP THE FAITH my friend. You are never alone. Jesus walks with you.

Kelli, Debbie, Stan and family:  I'm truly sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom.  My heart breaks for all of you, but especially you Kelli.  My thoughts are from HS days and there are so many, but in a nut shell she was like a 2nd mom to me.  I always felt safe and loved.  She had such strength; loved the Lord, and was kind and caring.  Whenever we went out...she'd always say, "be safe, I love you."  So sweet!  I'm saddened...may the Lord's arms be wrapped around all of you.

I've been thinking about what I could say for days, but the truth is...I have so many memories, I just can't put them into words. Barbara was such an amazing woman. For as far back as I can remember, I've admired her strength. I don't know one single person who faced as much tragedy in their life, and remained so incredibly kind. A hug from her could make you feel love and comfort beyond words. She seemed to always be around during the difficult times for my family, and I know we all loved those hugs! I remember the day she found out I was pregnant, it was not long after she had been diagnosed with macular degeneration and we were discussing a nursery color scheme. I told her I wanted everything pink and brown if I had a girl. The day of my baby shower, she showed up with the most beautiful, hand made pink and brown blanket for my baby girl. It meant the world to me! She spent so much time, and invested so much love for my baby when she was having such a hard time seeing. Having Barbara in my life was like having another Grandma to love. I will miss hearing her call me "little Jackie" and telling me funny stories about my mom and aunts when they were growing up, and I will definitely miss her!!! 

Kelli and Debbie,you're both in my prayers every night. Your mom touched so many people's lives, and I know heaven received one of the most special angels. I love you both! <3 <3 <3

Goodbyes are not the end nor are they forever. I know you are now a beautiful angel watching over Aiden.

You were an angel on earth and a beautiful smile who I was lucky enough to get the chance to know. I have so much love for you and the times we shared! I can imagine you rejoicing to be in Jim's arms once again. You are missed dearly. Rest easy in Paradise Barbara.

Bobbi,  my beautiful, beautiful,  big sister.  You carried me on your hip from the time you were 7 years old 'Till my feet drug the ground.  You loved me, fought my battles for me, protected me, guided me in the right direction and provided me with a home when you were just starting your own family.  You've left me with so many beautiful memories.  I love you so, so much Bobbi,  and miss you so very much.  Your baby sister,  Linda

Mama Yoakum,
I will miss you SO much although I am filled with joy knowing you are finally reunited with Jim, Stan , Jeff, Karri,  Aunt Nita and  Grampa and Gramma Paul and Yoakum! What an incredible party!!!  Most of all your blessed to be able to finally see Jesus face to face! See you later mama Y! I love you.

Back in the day, when I was crushing out on Jeff, I would constantly ride my bike by your house over, and over again. Your mom would always be outside in the yard, your dad in the garage. I think they were pretty sick of me asking if Jeff was home. I also remember visiting with your mom after Karri passed away. I loved your mom. She was the kindest mom in the whole wide world. She had lots of patience with me and knew how hung up I was on your brother. May God rest her soul. Love to you and Debbie always and forever.

I am so sorry to hear of your mom passing. I can still remember your mom telling me it was ok if I did not get the person out while catching when we were playing softball and told me "you'll get them next time". She was always so encouraging to everyone. While your dad was walking around talking to everyone. Such sweet memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I remember Barbara's comforting words to my friends when their father passed away. She held them as they wept, brushed the hair out of their eyes and wiped away the tears.  I'll never forget that at that very moment  I wished I had a mom like her.
