Annette was born on February 3, 1961 in Santa Ana, California. She was the daughter of Josie and Richard Velardez. Annette was raised in the city of Orange. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, tia, nana and friend.
Annette was fortunate to find love twice during her life. First with Kenneth, her late husband and father of her children. Lastly, with Sal, her second husband. He was a beacon of light and brought her love and happiness she never thought she would have again.
Annette will be remembered for her kind heart, her beautiful smile and warm laugh. Annette was a social butterfly. She loved to be around her friends, family and her little dog Luna. She had so much love for her family and friends and persevered to be there for them. Annette had Lupus for almost thirty years, but she didn't let the disease define her. She was a fighter. Her strength and determination to be there for her family was inspirational. She fought to her last breath to be there for her family. Though our hearts are broken we will remember her courage and strength. May it guide us to be kind and love each other. We love you Mom and though you are gone, you will never be forgotten.
Annette is survived by her parents; Josie and Richard, her daughters; Jennie, Josie, Jessica, her son; Robert and her grandchildren Brendon, Joseph, Alisha, Brooklyn, Justyn, Abram and Ian. She cherished her grandchildren and was so proud of them. She was Tia Nette to her nieces and nephew; Rebecca, Monique and Daniel.
