Walter Klunk of Westlake Village passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the age of 77. He was born on August 9, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Walter and Mary Klunk. Walter was married to the love of his life Patricia for 50 years. After serving in the U.S. Air Force he spent many years in technology sales all around the country. He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Walter and Daniel Klunk (his wife, Rebecca), daughters Karen, Patricia Spence (her husband, John), Susan Gaz (her husband, James), and grandsons Nicholas, Jason, Austin, Joseph, Landon, Hudson, and one due June 25th. He is also survived by his brother, Edward. After retiring from Keithley Instruments, he was very active in the community. He volunteered as a docent at the Ronald Reagan Library and Meals on Wheels. He loved to travel around the world with his beautiful wife and watch his grandsons play sports. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A rosary will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 7pm at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 11am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Place of burial will be Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks in Westlake Village.
