Vojislav Batta Vujicic, aged 71, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022 at home in Agoura Hills, Ca. Batta fought a very hard 5 month battle with Esophageal Cancer and lived up to the meaning of his name, “Glorious Warrior”.
Batta was born on October 26, 1950 in Vrsac, Serbia, to Vera Dakic Vujicic and Voja Vujicic. Vera and Voja raised their children in Vracev Gaj, Serbia near River Nera for 19 years. Batta and his entire family moved to Los Angeles in 1969.
At the age of 27, Batta married the love of his life, Rita Stamegna on September 10, 1978 in Los Angeles, Ca.
Batta is predeceased by his mother Vera, father Voja, and 4 infant siblings, Georgina, Branimir, Lydia, and Cvetana.
Batta is survived by his loving wife, Rita Vujicic, and his seven devoted children and their spouses: Marco Vujicic and wife, Lydia; Natalie Likavec and husband, Roger; Elena Radosavcev and husband, Bryan; Lara Radosavcev and husband, Eric; Daniela Munther and husband, Peter; Dario Vujicic; Ariana Bodjanac and husband, Aaron; and Nataliya Prediy, who Batta loved as his own. He is also survived by fifteen treasured grandchildren: Matteo Vujicic (18), Evaleina Vujicic (16), Nadia Radosavcev (15), Eliana Radosavcev (15), Giacomo Likavec (15), Tiana Radosavcev (14), Dominic Radosavcev (12), Mikhail Radosavcev (12), Joella Likavec (12), Giuseppe Likavec (10), Giada Radosavcev (8), Liliana Radosavcev (8), Davio Radosavcev (6), Theodore Munther (4), and Louie Munther (2). And finally, he is survived by his four siblings, Adina Suster (Stevan), Verica Vujicic Jevremov, Nada Gavrilovic (Elijah), Ljubomir Vujicic (Dana), and his 40 nieces and nephews.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Batta touched are invited to the Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary at 5600 Lindero Canyon Rd, Westlake Village, CA on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 12:00pm for closed casket viewing, 2:00pm service, 3:00pm burial.
