Steven Glenn Norris, 53, of Simi Valley, California, passed away unexpectedly early in the morning of April 18th, 2022, in the Mohave desert, California City, California. He was born in Simi Valley, California, on May 10th, 1968, where he grew up and lived most of his life. Steven met his wife, Debra (Waymire), in high school (Simi Valley High). They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this past 20th of September. He had been a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union since 1987. He apprenticed as a sheet metal worker for Local 108, currently Local 105 in Los Angeles. Over the years, he has worked on many of the buildings downtown and the surrounding area. He was known to his friends and family as "Mr. Fix it" (He could fix near almost anything) or lovingly as "POP" to his granddaughters. He could usually be found tinkering in his garage or out with his family, at Disneyland, camping, riding his motorcycles, off-road vehicles, or his Polaris, which he nicknamed "Beast." Steven will be missed deeply by his friends, family, and the grandchildren he adored and loved. He was a devoted & loving husband, amazing father, affectionate son, cherished brother, proud Pop & eternal friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith K. Brandenstein; Grandparents, William F. Norris, Doris B. Norris, Glenn E Brandenstein, and Mary R Brandenstein. Steven leaves behind his wife, Debra Norris; daughter, Stephanie Rosson (Shane); sons Brandin Norris (Jessica), Randy Norris, and Nicholas Norris (Angelica); granddaughters, Raelynn Rosson, Sophia Rosson, Teagan Norris & Raylee Marino; father, William K. Norris (Irma); mother and father in law, Lynda and Jim Waymire; sisters Sheila Norris & Cassandra Norris; Brother William K. Norris Jr.; Sister in Laws, Donna Mundy (Danny), Denise Waymire, Diane Waymire (Steve) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
