Shirley Ann Moon, 86, passed away at home with her family in Thousand Oaks on March 12th 2018. After a short battle with cancer, Shirley is finally reunited with the love of her life, Frederick Moon. She is survived by her sister Carol Albright, daughters Debbi Reed and Janice Cox, grandmother to 15 and great-great grandmother to 2. Shirley was an extremely hardworking, determined, tell it like it is woman. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to California in 1964 where she worked as a restaurant manager for 30 years. Shirley and Fred married in 1969 and moved to Las Vegas in 1975 where Shirley could enjoy her favorite hobby, playing slot machines. Unlike most, she was able to take money home from the casinos and not just give it to them. Her other favorite past times included watching, Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud and most of all golf. Shirley's creativity and enormous personality will be missed by all and never forgotten.
A funeral service in memory of Shirley will be held on Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village.
