Patricia Yvonne Giammanco

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 17th at 10am, at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks- Griffin Memorial Park in Westlake Village.

Patricia was born in Detroit, MI to Camille and Robert McLaughlin on June 22, 1940 and her parents relocated the family to Van Nuys, CA in 1955. Patricia built her family here as she enjoyed being a homemaker and married to her late husband, Peter Giammanco of 46 years in Thousand Oaks.

She enjoyed making people laugh and spending endless time and hours with family and friends. Pat made new friends easily no matter where she went. It was easy to take a liking to her as she was light hearted and a jokester, but took a genuine interest in each person she met. She would then introduce you to her new friends and tell you all about their family and what she learned about them. Throughout the years she enjoyed many hobbies like ceramics, bowling leagues, camping and traveling to see family. Her activities included her daily Coke and sweet treats along with the newspaper crossword puzzles, Suduko, watching evening game shows, scrolling through Facebook and Facetime calls.

Patricia has been reunited with her husband Peter Giammanco and is also preceded in death by her parents Robert McLaughlin and Camille Wilson, brother Robert McLaughlin; daughter Debbie Moorhead and niece Tonya Lyons.

Patricia is survived by her son Rick (Marci Ann) Powers of Elmira, OR; son Tom (Jill) Powers of Las Vegas, NV; son Peter (Leslie) Giammanco of Balboa Island, CA; son Darrel Powers of Frazier Park, CA; son-in-law Joe Moorhead of French Gulch, CA; son Joseph (Michelle) Giammanco of Moorpark, CA; Anthony (Ali) Giammanco of Moorpark, CA; her sister Betty Harrison of Colorado Springs, CO; brother Donny (Connie) Wilson of Simi Valley, CA; 19 grand children and 20 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. All will miss her tremendously.
