Mildred Louise Biggers, age 96, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2024, in Salisaw, Oklahoma. She was born February 18, 1927 to the late Curtis and Ruby Turner. Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Johnnie Biggers.
Mildred and Johnnie were the proud owners and operators of Unique Cleaners in Ventura from the 1970’s- 1990’s. Mildred was a long time member of Christ’s Church, formally People’s Church, where she dedicated over two decades to teaching Sunday School to preschoolers. Her gentle and loving ways touched the lives of many. Mildred was a founding member of the “ Cozy Quilters “ in Muldrow Oklahoma where she made many quilts for underprivileged children. Mildred was known for her love of family, friends, and for making the best cinnamon rolls on the planet.
Mildred is survived by her three daughters, Gaynell Wytrykus (Gene), Debbie English (Larry), and Cheryl Bridges (Steve). She was a cherished grandmother to Robert English (Destiny), Matthew English (Kelsie), Heather Mills, (Steven), Reid Bridges (Danica), and Bethany Tolbert (Joshua). Mildred was also blessed with 10 great grandchildren: Brooke English, Ayden English, Adysen English, Theodore English, Blaze Mills, Emma Mills, Braiden Mills, Vivian Rozanski, Sadie Bridges and Jean-Louise Tolbert.
