The world became a better place when Mary was born in Toronto, Canada, on April 28, 1926. She was raised and educated in Eastern Canada, moving to the United States after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Addison (Len) Ryan. The two took up residence in many stateside cities, and lived abroad for several years as Len served in the United States Army. They had two daughters, Lynn-Marie, and Shannon.
Her family was always number one, but Mary was also a business woman, spending 30 years in property management, and home sales. Much of her free time was spent on her Christian service and ministry. A pioneer of the AWANA program, she dedicated many years to bringing young people into the church as well as working extensively with the elderly.
Mary was also an athlete and an artist. To this day, she holds two track & field records at her high school in Canada. She was always involved in sports in some way, as a participant, coaching kids for the AWANA Olympics, or a dedicated fan. Recognized numerous times in “Who’s Who In Art”, she painted in oil, but was wildly creative, and known to dabble in mosaics, watercolor, charcoal, and pastels.
Her legacy is her smile, her positive attitude, her energy, and the way she brightened every room and heart that she entered.
Mary is survived by her brother, Dr. William Page, sister, Dena Page, daughter, Shannon Weber, son-in law, Mitch Weber, son-in-law, Bill Landman, grandchildren, Tyler, Chad, Eric, Jeff, Francis, Jillian, and great grandchildren, Karissa, RJ, Xavier, Amethyst, and William.
She is predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Addison (Len) Ryan, and her daughter, Lynn-Marie Landman.
Mary’s final resting place will be in Monterey, California, alongside her husband, Len.
