After a long illness with Alzheimer’s disease Marilyn Reed age 78, of Newbury Park, California passed away peacefully at The Cottages of The Oaks Board & Care on February 16, 2010 in Thousand Oaks.
Marilyn was born September 28, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Harold F. Reed Sr. and Leta E. Reed.
Marilyn leaves her brother and sister-in-law Harold F. Reed Jr. and wife Claire Reed, nephew Wayne Reed and wife Sandra and many nieces and nephews.
She was an Executive Secretary who worked for the FBI in Michigan and also worked for the Department of Energy in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 16 years and retired in 1994.
We wish to thank The Cottages of The Oaks Board and Care for the wonderful loving care they gave Marilyn the past 6 years.
There will be a private family Memorial for family members and close friends. She will be buried at Conejo Memorial Park in Camarillo.
In lie of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
