Mariamma Onattu (95) passed away in Manchester, Connecticut on February 11, 2020. She was married to the late O P Punnoose, Onattu, Vakathanam, Kerala for 40 years. She hails from Thekkepurathu-Vettiyil Family, Vakathanam. She was also mother to the late OP Punnen “Kunjumon” and grandmother to the late Elizabeth Onattu “Kunjunju”. She is survived by her daughters Sosa “Molly” Kurichethu (Abraham Kurichyath), Achamma Punnose (wife of Kunjumon), Santha Koshy (Kuruvilla Koshy, Poothiyottu), Sarasu Eapen (T A Eapen, Thottakattu-Assaricheril), Anna “Anie” Zachariah (Thomas M Zachariah, Marukara-Puthuvail). She is also the grandmother to Ushas Vinod (Vinod Mathew), Smitha Koshy, Susan “Sandhya” George (George Mathew), Abraham “Prashob” Eapen (Remya Abraham), Merris Thomas (Rev. Fr. Thomas John), Mamatha Koshy (Rony Mathew), Anu Kurichethu, Pushpa Zachariah, Thomas P Zachariah (Sybil Jacob). She has 16 great grandchildren.
