Linda Alexander Gerisch

June 4, 1951 – December 20, 2019

Linda A. Gerisch, 68, passed away on December 20, 2019 in Thousand Oaks, CA USA as a result of unexpected complications with her heart. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10am at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Linda was born on June 4, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to Bette and Robert Alexander. She spent time growing up in Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Salt Lake City before moving permanently to the LA area in the early 70’s. She began working at a top LA law firm and soon married and began a family. While in the midst of early parenting, she also went back to school and gained a Paralegal degree. Over her adult life, she was heavily involved in the local community working with children’s charities and local schools and went on to be a counselor to troubled youth and battered women. She was most proud of raising her two boys and seeing them grow up to eventually both marry. Her family and friends would best describe her as a social butterfly, the “hostess with the mostest,” a travel connoisseur, a lover of wine, and a friend for life. She was often spotted at Stonehaus sharing laughs with friends.

She will be forever remembered by her sister Cheryl, brother Tim, lifelong friend Jacopo, and is survived by her two sons, Brendon and Ryan.
