John Anthony Castellanos was born on Thursday August 24, 1950 to Raymundo & Alicia Castellanos and passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2016 surrounded by his children and grandchildren. John married the love of his life, Yolanda, on Saturday July 21, 1979 in San Pedro, California. He is survived by his three loving children, Brenda (Robert), Tanya (Ernie), David (Melissa) and six loving grandchildren, Jessica, Eric, Jonathan, Anthony, Kimi and Dominic. He is also survived by his great grandson to be, Damien.
John was a proud and strong man. He strived to take the best care of his family and worked hard to provide them with the safety and security they deserved. There was no other woman in this world that John loved more than his wife, Yolanda who passed away on May 31, 2009. Although surrounded with his children's love and the support of his sister, Lupe (who passed away on March 29, 2014), there was nothing that our dad wanted more than to be reunited with the love of his life once again. Theirs was a true love story and we are comforted knowing they are together again along with our dad's sister, Lupe. We know they are dancing in heaven together.
A private, graveside service was held at Pierce Brothers Valley Oak Memorial Park in Westlake Village, California.
