Jim was born December 1, 1922 in the Bronx, New York, where he was raised and schooled.
During World War II he was called to active duty in 1942. He served as M/Sgt in the U.S. Army with the 31st Signal Corp in the areas of Central Burma, India and China. He was discharged in 1945.
Under the GI Bill Jim attended what is now Pace University in New York City where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and then his CPA credentials from New York City University in 1955.
Jim’s work brought him to California and eventually Westlake Village. He was a member of St Jude Catholic Community where he helped as a counter and an usher. He also joined the St Jude’s Knights of Columbus.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Mary; brother Vincent (Patricia) of Milford, Connecticut and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.
As we must all do alone, Jim has moved on to the next phase of his journey. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A mass will be held at 2pm on Thursday, August 1st at St Jude Catholic Community Church in Westlake Village, California.
