It is with great sadness that the family of Dale Myers announces his passing on Thursday, May 2, 2018. Dale Robert Myers was born at home in Clinton County Indiana on September 24, 1929 the son of Eldo and Opal Myers. He grew up on a rural farm tending to the animals and milking the cows. He especially loved to ride his horse, Old Babe. Dale joined the United States Air Force in 1952 qualifying on the B-26 Photoreconnaissance bomber. Dale left the Air Force and was later hired by Capital Airlines, which merged with United Airlines. There, Dale met his wife, Lynne Hurst, a flight attendant, on a flight to Atlantic City in 1963. They married two years later and eventually settled in Westlake Village. They celebrated 52 years of marriage this year. Dale is survived by his wife, Lynne Myers, and his four children, Stephanie Boudrie of Florida; Jeff Myers of Florida; Robert Myers of Westlake Village, CA; and Jacob Myers of Fillmore, CA; as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services to be held on Saturday, May 12 at 10:00am located at Pierce Brothers, 5600 Lindero Canyon Blvd, Westlake Village, CA.
