Aurora C. Ramirez of Lancaster, California passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 62. She was born on July 31, 1961 in El Salvador where she grew up in a humble home with her brother Jose, sister Violeta, her mother Isabel & her father Jose.
She worked under many occupations over the years, from Winchell cashier, 7-11 clerk, el pollo loco cashier, an accountant, a counselor, a chaplain, Kangen water representative and finally as a Dignity Memorial Pre-Planning Advisor. No matter the occupation, Aurora made it her point to serve people with kindness and gentleness because she genuinely cared for them and their well-being.
She was actively involved in her church and participated in many roles as well. From helping with the children’s ministry to being a helping hand during clean up to being part of the prayer team to lastly being involved in the media ministry. She loved people, she loved her family and most importantly she loved God.
She is survived by her only daughter Elizabeth S. Ramirez and her dog that she loved very much, Bella.
Those that knew Aurora, knew the type of strong woman she was. She loved God and trusted him no matter the circumstances life threw at her. She often spoke about how great He is and how He has carried her through all these years. Even when one of her darkest trials, being diagnosed with Cancer, had come her way she never lost sight of God’s promises and she stayed rooted in the Word of God. Her legacy is powerful and she is truly an example of what it is to live by faith.
Her daughter would like to thank all the nurses, doctors, janitors and staff at Olive View Medical Center - UCLA and Sherman Village Skilled Nursing Center for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days. She never cared about titles or positions but more so about the character of a person. We are so grateful to have had individuals who were compassionate and kind to her and the family; she valued every interaction.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks on Friday September 15th at 1:00pm; please note there is a 90 person capacity, you may be asked to step out to let another visitor come in to say their goodbyes. Visitation and Burial will be private and be only by invitation from her daughter, Elizabeth S. Ramirez.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." - Isaiah 40:31
