Born May 9, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pa. After graduating from high school she attended Carnegie Mellon Univ. where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She received a Master’s Degree in Art from UCLA. She taught art in the Pasadena Unified School District for the majority of her working life. In 1967 she married Donald Cockrell and shortly thereafter moved to Westlake Village. She continued painting and was a member of the Westlake Village Art Guild. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donald, a daughter, Marjorie Kreuzer of Oxnard and a son, David Cockrell of Newbury Park. She has two granddaughters Regina and Victoria Kreuzer. A Rosary will be held for Ann at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary on Friday, April 20 at 6pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St Jude’s Catholic Church on Saturday, April 21 at 10am.
