Dear Pop. I miss you so much. Since you went home to be with Jesus there have been so many times I have picked up the phone to call you , and realized you weren't there. We started a new church called Christian Faith Tabernacle in September, and dad you would be proud of how many have come to know the Lord since we started. I think about you every day, and have cried many many tears, but I know that you aren't hurting any more. Daddy I promise that I will always serve the Lord, and one day I will come home to heaven. I can't wait to see you again, hug you, and tell you I love you, and you say hello son. Until the day God calls me home . I love you Daddy.

My buddy word cannot express how much I miss you I love you and I know you loved me. You took me any more than any one I know you counted me as one of your own. I could come talk to you and you would listen. If we came over even if you were tired or not feeling good you would stay up and talk to us. I could lead you around the church help get you in and out of your car. I miss you all the time your always on my mind. Words can not express how I feel   you were an amazing  man of God. You were my brother in christ  my friend I  love you so much an have so many memories of you I enjoyed listening to you preach sing an testify  an even when we would just set around an talk about anything an everything   you took my boys in especially Joshua he was your buddy  I will  forever  be great full for what a great influence an role modle you was to him  he is lost with out you but I keep reminding him your not in pain no more an that he can see you again one day if he wants to. I am very saddened to hear this news about Preacher Jim passing.  When he came to preach in Big Springs, WV, I really enjoyed his messages.  He was a great and caring person, and a great witness for God,  He will be dearly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.  Love from, Jeff and Norma Wagoner

Karl and I will remember Rev. Sollars.
His son worked with Karl and became good friends.  Also, the number of years we were invited to share a meal with all of you.  God now is welcomeing him.  Good and faithful servant.

 My best Jim Sollars , how I enjoyed you and all your sermons . You always talked about slewfoot ( you gave it a name -Devil) you have been such a inspiration to me and my family . A good man , a great husband , a loving father and those all around you could depend on you and always put God first . The memories I have of u will never be forgotten, always having that little grin of yours . I could be down or have worries , and seeing your face it just went away .   I will always love you and Mary and hold you dear to me . The one thing that stand out in my mind is that what my mother told me and dad told me . I was having a operation at Southwest and she told me you walked by asked what are you doing here . Mom said waiting for me to get out of the operating room, you sat down prayed and say there the whole time til I was out of there and in my room . Then came by and prayed with me , now I dont remember that but that is the way you was , Silently giving of yourself and taking upon just being in the right place always letting God lead you . so many times I would see you and Mary just doing that . How I am going to miss that little grin, and just your way . I love u and always will. What truly a inspiration in my young Christian ways . You and Mary was always there for me and mom and dad .. My heart to all that surrounds your family . You are with so many of our loved ones now as you say it best --Shouting on the Hills of Glory by the Masters Hand! ..What a great man you have always been.

I will miss our occasional calls when he would cry and shout as we reminisced of times at Southern Bible Temple.  He led me to the Lord as a young girl in Sunday School. Bro. Jim was a wonderful God fearing man.I'm so glad I had the pleasure of knowing him, I  know he is in the arms of our savior. Prayers for family.Just remember with have that promise that we will see him again someday. God bless.

Brother Jim has been a part of our family for many many years  he and i met through my grandma we went to his church since i was very small he came to the hospital when i was young always brought me Juicy fruit gum lol he preached many funerals and weddings in our family im going to miss him so much   Now he is with the good lord above and with my grandma he always called her Mom Jones  Rip Brother Jim  we love you

I met Rev. Jim and his dear wife Sis Mary when I first started preaching at the age of 13. We have had many great services in the Lord. Seen souls saved. I have had several revivals for Bro. Jim and preached many services for him and his church. He was there and stood next to me when I announced to my church I was getting married. He said in a laughing way and kidding "It's about time" We have shared many laughs together and have shared the Word of God with each other. I will miss you Bro. Jim.
