I've known Erv for quite some time and he was a great friend of mine. We met in 1984 while I was working at Alcoa. He introduced me to financial services and was always willing to share his knowledge. Erv was a very intelligent and giving person.  He will be missed very much.

I knew Erv since his retirement from 3m back in the 1980's. We chatted many times over a Chinese meal. He loved to talk financial security, travel and family.  He did the "Dance of Life" well!  His favorite dance was disco as he was acquainted with many styles of dance during his Arthur Murray days down under.  He always lit up when talking about his sons and grand children.  I saw him just the day before his passing and put off his details of his recent helicopter trip.  WE were to chat last weekend.  Never put off important things as tomorrow in not promised!  He was excited to compare notes of his flight over the volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii.  I will miss our chats and his constant encouragement to "Invest,travel and save and to see life as it is",  and of course, Dance!

Erv lived on the same floorI do @ King James.  I remember the many unusual things he moved in also.  He was very friendly and would speak to everyone.  He held an open house at his home shortly after he moved in.  He told me one day he made many kinds of soup almost daily.  He said "feel free to stop and have some".  I saw him just before he left on his trip and he said he was leaving and wouldn't see me until he returned.  His death had to be very sudden.  May he rest in the peace of God.  My prayers and sympathy to his family and friends.

Erv called us late afternoon on Dec 18 to see if we would be available for dinner but we were on our way to the airport to go to Denmark for Christmas and New Year. "Oh, well, let's just do it when you return!" was the characteristically optimistic response from Erv. I always admired his drive and optimism the short period we were colleagues in the financial management business. Birthe & I will miss Erv and the bright light around him.

Erv has been a breath of fresh air during each Financial Network meeting and gathering.  So glad he got to Hawaii!  I'm sure he's telling jokes in heaven now.

My fondest memory is taking disco lessons from Erv. The man could dance. He gave his son Stephen and friends lessons. We had a blast. I am sure he's dancing on cloud 9. God Bless

What a wonderful man Uncle Erv was! He will be missed greatly by my husband and I. We enjoyed dinner parties at Erv's, watching videos of his zip-lining adventure in Costa Rica, and dinner at Applebee's. We know he will be disco dancing in Heaven with Jesus and his loved ones. We love you Erv!!

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.
