Yvonne Marie Sumpter

Yvonne Marie Sumpter, 91, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010, in a local hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Westlake for over 62 years. Survivors include her sons, Paul Allen Gautreaux and late wife, Rosalie; Mac Allen Sumpter and wife, Deanna; Michael Joe Sumpter and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Natalie Gautreaux Hebert and husband, Jayson Hebert; Christopher Paul Gautreaux and wife, Lisa; Nicholas Todd Gautreaux and wife, Lynne; Carlos Jude Gautreaux and Roman Joseph Gautreaux; Danny Michael Sumpter and Justin Tait Sumpter; 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Sumpter. Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Westlake. Dr. Wayne McEntire will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake and will resume at the church on Sunday at 1 p.m. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers, Sarah Whitlock and Delma Peshoff.
