William Clinton Hudson

Clint was a native of Maplewood, Louisiana and a resident of Westlake, Louisiana. He graduated from Sulphur High School class of 1972, where he was active in sports. Graduated from McNeese State University with a degree in Education in 1986. He began his teaching career in 1987, teaching Civics and Free Enterprise at Westlake High School. He also coached basketball, baseball and softball at Westlake High School from 1990-1998 and began teaching AP classes in 2010. During his teaching career he earned the Teacher of the Year award 2005-2006 and won the Softball State Championship in 1992. Clint retired from his teaching career in 2017.

Clint loved spending time with his family, his pets Fozzie, Bailie, and Sophie. He also loved watching the Weather Channel and History Channel. He had a passion for reading and had a great sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Liz Hudson and his In-laws Dub and Mary Helen Whiteard.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Donna Whitard Hudson of Westlake, LA, his son Brandon Hudson and wife Kristen of New Orleans, LA, and his sister Vickie Aucoin of Lafayette, LA.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Clint at the Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake, LA from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday April 11, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brennan’s Blessings or St. Judes.
