Ward Wayne Johnson

He was born to his parents, Wayne and Betty Johnson in Lake Charles on March 22, 1947. Some of his hobbies included fishing and hunting. He was a very creative and talented man, and there was very little he could not do. He was a loving caretaker of his mother and father for the last 10 years.

He is survived by his two sons, Mike Johnson and wife ToniAn of Sulphur, Steven Johnson and wife Eva of Westlake; one daughter, Chere Monteleone and husband Donald of Ponchatoula, LA; his mother, Betty Johnson of Westlake; one brother, Rodney Johnson and wife Allyson of Hornbeck; one sister, Linda Hicks and husband Jack of Sulphur; along with six grandchildren, Alexa, Sierra, Kailey, Shade, Bowen, and Donald.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne J. Johnson.

A Graveside Service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:30am, with Bro. Jack Bell officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home Westlake on Thursday, July 18, 2019 beginning at 10:00am until 11:00am, followed by a Graveside Service.
