Rose Mae Hebert, 93 died Sunday, June 3, 2018, in a Lake Charles Care Facility surrounded by her family. She was born in Church Point, La, March 7, 1925, to Oscar and Eva Daigle. She lived in Westlake, La., and was a Crossing Guard there for 22 years.
She was a proud homemaker, living independently since the death of her husband, Garland, in 1987, and took great joy in welcoming her family and friends, especially those who dared to play her beloved French card games.
She enjoyed traveling with her church friends from St. John Bosco, cooking her delicious Cajun dishes but above all, prayin the rosary.
Those left behind to cherish her sweet, loving memory are her daughters, Patsy Dugas and husband Jimmy, Pamela McCain and husband Danny; sons, Rick Hebert and wife Becky, Patrick Hebert and wife Jan; seven grandchildren, Troy, Amy, Erica, Taylor, Keagan, Megan, and Kade; Three great grandchildren, Karsyn Rose, Blake, and Harper; two step great grandchildren, Lauren and Anthony.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 9pm, Wednesday, June 6, and a rosary will be recited at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake, La. Visitation will resume June 7, 2018, at 8am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake, La., with internment at Magnolia Cemetery.
