Richard "Dickie" W. Richard

He was born March 5, 1942 in Crowley, La to Calvin and Aline (Young) Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Debbie of Westlake, three children, Troy and his wife Rhonda Richard of Westlake, Tessa and her husband Donald Robertson of Westlake and Ashley and her husband Zach Thompson of Moss Bluff, eight grandchildren, Ryan, Reagan, Summer, Gage, Gavin, Gunnar, Cohen and Cameron. Also surviving are three sisters, Loretta, Myrna Franklin and Anderine.

Dickie worked as a welder and was a member of Union Local 106. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hixson funeral Home in Westlake and resume on Friday from noon until service time. His funeral will be Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Westlake Memorial Park in Westlake.
