Margaret Ann Deon Kidd

She was born April 15, 1923, in Merryville, Louisiana and lived the majority of her life in Westlake, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert D. Kidd; parents Charles and Effie Laura Deon; brother, Charles Leslie Deon; sister, Charlene Presley; and two infant children, Timothy Kidd and Laura Alice Kidd.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Alice Spikes and husband Norman, of Shirley, Arkansas; two sons, David Kidd and wife Stephanie of Ringgold, Louisiana and Joe Kidd and wife Randi of Fayetteville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Ed Dilworth and Rev. Stephanie Kidd will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Hixson Funeral Home. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. The family is extremely grateful for the care given their loved one by Dr. Scott Phillips and the staff of Ringgold Nurse Care Center.
