Andy was a native of Westlake and spent most of his life in the Westlake/Sulphur area. After graduating from Westlake High School, Andy worked for Acadian Ambulance Services as a paramedic and worked with Westlake Fire Department. Andy served his country in the Louisiana National Guard for 22.5 years, during which time he was deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was also a member of the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Association. Andy's greatest achievement and joy of his life was his daughter, Ashlynne.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ashlynne Roach of Sulphur; mother, Margie Simmons Roach; siblings, Mavis Roach Harger and husband Brian "Bo", Rusty Roach and wife Donna, Debbie Roach Stevison and husband Greg, Patricia Roach LaPolt and husband Ronald, Eddie Roach, Linda Roach Cox and husband David; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Newton Arthur Roach; sister, Carolyn Jean Roach.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Friday, January 14, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at
2:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Magnolia Cemetery of Westlake. Andy's nephew, Reverend Tyler Stevison will be officiating at the services.
