Westlake - Eula Mae Campbell, 94, passed away December 7, 2011 in a local hospital.
She was born May 10, 1917 in Elton, La. and moved to Westlake in 1944. She and her husband have been members of St. John Bosco Catholic Church for 56 years, where they were recognized as one of the Pioneer Families of the parish.
She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters where she was awarded Mother of the Year in 1997. She was a CCD teacher and a Eucharistic Minister for the sick. She was also active member of the Autumn Leaves Club in Westlake.
She is survived by her sons, Don Campbell (Carolyn) of Westlake and Kenny Campbell of Westlake; daughters, Barbara LaBauve (Jackie) of Bossier City, Karen Gremillion (Larry) of Auburn, Wa., Karolyn Baggett of Sulphur, Brenda Woodall (Mike) of DeQuincy and daughter-in-law, Karen Sue Campbell of Lake Charles, 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Moise Campbell; son, Mike Campbell and grandson Billy Bushnell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Rev. Alan Trouille will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and resume Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
