Darrell graduated from Westlake High School in 1993, graduated from Sowela in Process Technology, and worked as an Chief Operator at Citgo. He also proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, woodworking, camping, traveling, playing guitar and drums.
Darrell was a family man, he was dedicated to his wife for 26 years, he was a good listener, proud of his children and their accomplishments, but above all he especially loved spending time with his grandkids! He had two fur babies that he cherished, Marley and Jake.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lawrence Main, his mother, Bonnie Victory Parker and her husband, Jody, mother-in-law, Deborah Ann Pickle, his uncle, Timothy Victory, his grandfather, Hal Luttrell, and his nephew, Reid Main.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelly Main; son, Nicholas Joseph Main; daughters, Chelsey Paige Landry (Shon), Cyleigh Elizabeth Main, and Jacey Nichole Pickett (Michael); eight grandchildren, Avery, Kenlee, Asher, Oaklynn, Blaine, Evangeline, Kolton, and Margot; grandmother, Patsy Luttrell; a brother, Donald Ray Main (Kendra); a sister, Debbie Main; uncles, Loren Victory (Patty) and Robert Victory (Cindy); numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and will resume at 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at St. John Bosco with Rev. Mike Barras officiating.
