Lynn was a fun cousin, especially when I was very young. I was in awe of her skating. She used to pretend to do pair-skating spins and lifts with me in the living room and on the lawn ... I loved it. She must have had lots of patience. The first time I heard Elvis was in 1957 ... my cousin Lynn had a record! Years later, we shared memories of Grandma Mc, whom we loved. And older still, at a family loss, when feeling so alone, the most spontaneous, understanding, and loving words came from Lynn as she touched my shoulder. I'm grateful still.

Her passing is so sad. Her spirit will be missed. My sincere condolences go to Mya and the family. With love ...

As a young, up and coming skater at Capilano Winter Club one of my idols was Lynn Pagliaro.
Later in life we became friends through family and other social connections. We shared interest not only in figure skating but lived in the same neighbourhood and spent summers on the Sunshine Coast.
Lynn's laugh and laughter as well as her witty humour will never be forgotten. I am saddened to hear of her passing and wish Mya and the family my condolences.

I remember Lynne from the Capilano Winter Club in NV.  She had such a personality back then.  Condolences to her family

Lynn was a bright light in this world and she will be missed terribly.  We are so saddened by this news and want to send our love and support to Mya.  We will always treasure the memory of Lynn's beautiful smile, lovely wit and incredible creative talent.  We enjoyed many years of love and laughter with Lynn and her family.  xox

Lynn and I were "best friends" as little girls.  She, being younger than I by 50 weeks, would relish those 15 days each year when she could boast, "I'm the same age as you are!"  with a great grin on her face.  We used to play "husbins" with my two older brothers whom we both adored.  We would dress up in old curtains my mother had in abundance and put on makeup.  Lynn looking like a gypsy even then, all black hair and flashing eyes; I, lacking her exotic features, seemed a little girl playing with Mommy's makeup.
Because our mothers were excellent friends, the Pagliaros move from Golden did not interrupt our relationship.  We spent a couple of weeks at a guest ranch in the Cariboo in the summers she was ten and eleven.  Her mom, Annetta, thought Lynn would have more fun with another kid along for the ride.
When I moved to Vancouver in my late teens, we continued some contact, attending parties with my university-student brothers, and sharing that love and familiarity that stems from the deep place known as "back in the day".
Over the years, I looked Lynn Pagliaro up on the internet from time to time, always drawing a blank, so I've missed much more of her life than I ever shared.  I have always, nonetheless, savoured the sweetness of those days.  I wish I had tried harder to contact her, through Doug and Bruce, through the skating association, perhaps through Barb G.  I treasure the 8-1/2 by 11 photos I have of the 14-year-old Lynn in spread eagle and various jumps, and the inscription which reads:  "To Jo, My Best Pal, Lynn".  She used that word a lot:  pal.
I've missed many years of her love and laughter; I've missed her Mya, of whom I've just learned, and those grandchildren.  I send my condolences to those of you who have loved her more intimately and more recently than I.  I know you will grieve her deeply and miss her enormously.  A bright star has dimmed, but her glow will remain through those she has touched.
I would love to know more about her and her precious family.

My heartfelt condolences to Mya.  Cousin Lyn was always so exciting to visit when I was younger and I always thought of her when I came home to visit Vancouver.  She was a great personality and will be missed by all.

Lynn was a wonderful person who had a knack for calling something for what it truly was. That was one of her many  attributes we admired.
Our family has so many fond memories of fun times together on Maui. Our condolences and sympathies go out to Mya.

Sincere condolences to Lynn's family and friends.  Vancouver Life and About Town was my employer and I recall the cover photo well. We arrived in the same year, and met in our late teens. I will share this sad news with my cousin Diane Frith Smith Agle, of Lake Placid. Fare thee well.
