We will all miss your sparkling humour and it breaks our hearts that you have left us. We knew it was coming, but nothing could ever prepare us for your absence. You left your wife, Vern of 38 years, your 3 daughters: Anne, Billie Jo and Elizabeth, your son David and 7 grandchildren to mourn and miss you. David led a full life encompassing his many interests; snooker, Cadillacs, English bulldogs and many years spent with all his cronies at the YMCA. As a salesman, he had no equal, exceeding the 100% club year after year. He definitely enjoyed his 7 years extending his hail fellow well met personality around the Candy Store and took a certain amount of pride in his nickname “Disco Dave”. Service of Remembrance will be held at Hollyburn Funeral Home, 1807 Marine Drive, West Vancouver on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. A memorial donation may be made in David’s name to the SPCA.
