Wynona W. Oveson

She was born December 7, 1933 in Cleveland, Utah to William Robert Ward and Vola Larson. She attended North Emery High School. She married Darwin Neal Oveson on March 7, 1952 in Emery County. She was sealed for eternity to her sweetheart on June 3, 1964 and peacefully rejoined him as she was surrounded by all of her children, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She faithfully served in her church callings which included primary presidency, young women’s presidency and many other auxiliary positions. She loved to quilt, crochet and cook, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wynona is survived by her children, Tom (Nancy), Rick (Sandy Yowell), Neal (MaryLynn), Dale (Robyn), Sherry (Ross Kesler), Ed (Teresa), Kelly (Lisa), Brian (Lindsey); Siblings, Bill Ward, Stan Ward, Mildred Oveson, Orvill Ward, Jerry Ward; 27 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Darwin, parents, 3 siblings and granddaughter Leah.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Copperhills 1st Ward Chapel, 6000 W. 4150 S. The family will receive friends at a visitation Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the ward house. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
