Walter David Davies

Our beloved husband, father, and dada Walt, after a courageous battle, returned home to his loving parents and many other friends and family on November 8, 2019. Walt was born on September 24, 1939 to Meda Rasmussen and Clyde Davies in Salt Lake City, UT. He worked at L3 communications for 54 years as an electronic engineer. He spent his free time enjoying reading, bowling, golfing, fishing, and anything to do with family, and his passion for fine wine.

Preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Meda Davies, his brother Ray Davies and sister Elaine Holmes. He is survived by his wife Patricia Butcher Davies, his son Brian Davies (Sherri Davies), his daughters Kristi Davies Compton (Jerry Compton), and Kathy Davies, Eight grandchildren (Ricky, Michael, Shelby, Allison, Trevor, Jason, Nikkole, Natalee) and four great grandchildren, Siblings Ron Davies, Annette DeMille, Joann Smith, Albert Davies, Brent Davies (Sally Davies), Dorothy Cosgrove (Bill Cosgrove ), and Dan Davies.

A celebration of life in his honor will be held on November 16, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. 5025 W. 4865 S. Kearns UT 84118. Internment following at Valley View Memorial Park 4400 West 4100 South, W.V.C. UT 84120
