Tawnee Jo Hendricks, age 53, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her West Valley home on Friday June 7th. She was born on July 5th, 1970, to L. James Rushton Ill and Carla Rushton.
Tawnee married Marvin "Bud" Hendricks on December 22, 1998. They have 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
She enjoyed life and loved her family and friends more than anything. She would do anything for others, even as a child she would bring home every 2- or 4-legged stray. She worked various jobs throughout her life and was exceptional at all of them. She was extremely smart and very talented at so many things.
Tawnee liked to paint pictures and was very good at it. Tawnee had an ear for music, she played piano and was able to teach herself a song just by listening to it. Tawnee was a great photographer, all our family pictures from our family events and vacations, she is behind the camera making sure she doesn't miss a single moment. Unfortunately, limiting the pictures with her in them.
Tawnee was a great WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, DAUGHTER, SISTER and FRIEND. The relationships she built during her life with anyone who knew her were something special.
Tawnee was kind and loving and would do anything for anyone. Tawnee was selfless and would go out of her way for anyone.
Tawnee leaves behind her husband Marvin, her children Steven, J, Coy, Marin and Danica, her parents, L. James Ill and Carla Rushton, her Siblings Melissa, Lewie and Paula. Grandchildren, Easton, Mikelle and Braxton, Aspen, Briar and Xailey. Along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, Lewis J and F Leone Rushton and William "Bill" and Dorothy Bosh.
Viewing will be held Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Valley View Funeral Home 4335 West 4100
South, WVC, UT from 6pm-8pm, Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at Valley View Funeral Home 4335 West 4100 South, WVC, UT from 11 am-12 pm, followed by a graveside ceremony at Valley View Memorial Park. Luncheon will follow shortly after at a nearby church, 5180 West 4700 South WVC, UT.
