Our sweet Suzanne quietly passed away in the early morning on the 6th of February, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. Mom was born at home on the 29th of December, 1935 in Salt Lake City to Nellie Weiler and Anthony Morelos Brown. She had many fond memories of growing up in the Salt Lake area, where she met her sweetheart Paul Ervin Pearson at a Stake Dance. They were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on the 20th of December, 1951. They soon moved to Clovis, New Mexico, where Dad was stationed for the United States Air Force. It was there that they became a family of three with the arrival of Kevin. From there, they built a home in Woods Cross, Utah, where they were blessed with seven more children. In 1967, they moved to Hunter, Utah where they made life-long friends.
Mom and Dad loved working in the temple. They enjoyed forty-five years together before Dad passed away in 1997.
Mom met and married Haroutioun Arslanian in 1999. They went on to serve a mission in the Philippines and traveled to various countries together.
Mom had a strong testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. Mom was very proud of the positions in the church that she was blessed to serve. She served as a Relief Society President, Primary Teacher and various other callings. She was a tremendous example to all of honesty, kindness and that family comes first.
She is survived by Haroutioun and her children, Kevin (Aline), Robyn Larsen, Steve (Kathy), Bryan (Cheri), Charianne (Scott) Mower, Lori (George) Clark, Cara Knight, and Brent (Shelly); Haroutioun's three children and their spouses; siblings Elaine Shaw, Leona Olsen, Russell (Pat) Brown, Orson (Veralyn) Brown, Michael (Linda) Brown, Kathy (Bill) Randall, Miles (Jackie) Brown, Weiler (Marie) Brown; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Suzanne is preceded in death by her sweetheart Paul; siblings Gaylen, Ray, Kenneth, Dianne and JoAnn; son-in-laws Mike Larsen, Mark Knight; daughter-in-law Kathy Pearson.
