There are many things to say about Scott. First and foremost, he was himself. No one was like him, and he liked it that way. He went his own way and always brought smiles to any room. He was a funny, unique, and charismatic ball of energy and love. It took very little to make him happy and he enjoyed the simple things in life to the fullest.
Scott was born to Thomas Bradshaw and Jacqueline McBeth (Jackie Price) on September 11th, 1959. The youngest of their two children, he grew up with his older brother Rodney (Rod) Bradshaw, and his family in West Valley City, UT. He enjoyed many friends and memories through the years there. Eventually Jackie and Thomas would divorce, and Jackie would remarry to Robert “Bob” Price. Bob became a very important part of Scott's life. Teaching and guiding him in his youth. His father would later remarry to Joan Bradshaw, and they are still together today.
Scott was always a daredevil and music aficionado. He loved automobiles, food and gold jewelry (always wearing his gold rings and necklaces). He loved to sing, dance and be a part of the music scene. Touring with his older brother Rod across the country and making many friends along the way. He fathered a daughter, Christie Fullerton, during these years. After graduating high school at Cottonwood High he later married Lisa Ann Dimmitt (Bradshaw) and they had three wonderful children together, Scott Thomas Bradshaw Jr., Jamie Lee Bradshaw, and Christopher Bradshaw. His family was everything to him and he always made them feel loved and cared for. Their home was always a warm and inviting place for family and friends alike for years. They enjoyed many great family trips and adventures together. Born with the gift of gab, Scott became one of the best car salesmen in Utah for many years. In his career at Menlove Dodge/Toyota he broke records and was loved by his customer base for his warm approach and knowledge. He later lost his sweet daughter Jamie Lee from an acute asthma attack at the age of four and mourned her loss terribly throughout his life.
Lisa and Scott later divorced but always remained great friends. Scott later married Lisa A. Taylor (who then became a 2nd Lisa A. Bradshaw) and became a stepfather to her five children: Kelly Taylor, Brad Taylor, Tony Taylor, Eric Francis, and Jeffery Francis. They enjoyed many great years together. Lisa and Scott later divorced but stayed close through the years.
Scott was an amazing person. He made impressions on everyone, no matter how long you knew him. One of the most unique and dynamic people you would ever meet. He stole the show. He was kind, generous and very strong willed. You never forgot him once you met him. He was intense, but warm and full of life. Never alone, always with friends and family by his side, he thrived the most when he made people happy.
As his family, friends and loved ones we will miss the chats we had with him, our adventures together, and his goofy, witty puns. We will miss the way he told stories and viewed the world through his unique lens. The way he drew people from all walks of life to him and kept their attention. His laughter and voice that boomed through any room. His excitement and zest for life. His passion and courage. He was truly one-of-a-kind in every way. His absence will be felt by us all.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie Lee Bradshaw, his brother Rodney Bradshaw, his mother Jackie Price, stepfather Robert Price, his cousin Scott Price, and many others throughout the years.
He is survived by his father Thomas Bradshaw (Joan Bradshaw); his children Scott Bradshaw Jr, Christopher Bradshaw, daughter Christie Fullerton, and cousin Kerri Sorensen.
We will miss you Scottie. You were an amazing father, son, uncle, cousin, husband, friend, and grandfather. Thank you for everything you gave us and all that you were. The time we shared with you was very special to all of us. Rest in peace. We love you.
“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch. There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever we are, you will be in our hearts.”
"A rolling stone gathers no moss."
A viewing will be held at 12:00 noon at Valley View Mortuary in 4335 West 4100 South West Valley City, UT 84120 on June 21st 2022. Graveside will be at 1:00pm for those that wish to say a final farewell.
